Our Mission

MakeAMom exists to remove the financial and geographic barriers that stand between women and motherhood. We design medical-grade, reusable insemination kits and evidence-based fertility supplements that give every woman an affordable, empowering path to conception — in the privacy and comfort of her own home.

Whether you are a single mom by choice, part of an LGBTQ+ couple, dealing with male factor challenges, or simply looking for a more affordable alternative to clinical IUI, our products are designed for you.

Founded

MakeAMom was founded in 2021 out of frustration with a fertility industry that prices most women out of parenthood. After spending over $28,000 on clinical treatments that did not work, our founder discovered that the same science used in clinic-based IUI could be performed safely and effectively at home — for a fraction of the cost.

Ownership

Kytierra Clark is the majority owner of MakeAMom. As a Black woman-owned business, MakeAMom qualifies for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) certification programs. We are proud to bring diversity to the fertility industry and to serve communities that have historically been underserved by traditional reproductive medicine.
