MakeAmom assists a same-sex couple in conceiving!

lesbian couple

For many years, I had longed to become a mother. I had always loved children and had dreamed of the day when I would have the opportunity. When my first nephew was born in 2011, I was overjoyed and he quickly became the closest thing to a son. Despite my joy, I often wondered what it would be like to have a child of my own;

however, due to the fact that I am a lesbian, the possibility of having a child of my own seemed impossible as going through IVF or finding a donor could cost thousands and thousands of dollars, and even then the chances of success could be slim. After much contemplation, my partner and I decided to take a leap of faith and leave the outcome in the hands of God. Luckily, I did not need to resort to a sperm bank for a donor, as I had a friend who selflessly offered to help. I was,

however, unaware of the process of at-home insemination, so I turned to research, watching countless YouTube videos. It was during this time that I came across a video of a same-sex couple who had successfully conceived using Makeamom.

I immediately went to the website, read the success stories, and knew I had to give it a try. After two at-home inseminations with the Makeamom syringe, I was delighted to receive a positive result on DPO 11. I had achieved my dream of becoming a mother. On November 14, 2020, my partner and I welcomed our baby boy 'D' into the world. He is the biggest blessing in our lives, and we are eternally grateful to Makeamom for making our dream come true.

Our story is an encouragement to other same-sex couples who may be considering starting their own journey towards parenthood - do not give up, God's timing is always right. It is with sincere gratitude that I thank Makeamom, as without it, I may not have had the same results. - B&K from Florida
